Men wanted for double homicide in Pontotoc County

SUMMARY: The Pontotoc County Sheriff’s department is seeking the public’s help in locating two suspects, Lco Clark and Michael O’Neal, who are wanted for a double homicide. The victims, Tabitha Moore and Gaston White, were killed in a shooting at a home near the Pontotoc County line. The suspects are considered armed and dangerous. The sheriff emphasized the importance of the public’s help in solving the case and bringing justice to the victims. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Clark and O’Neal is urged to contact the sheriff’s department or Crim Stoppers. Sheriff Leo Mass stated that additional arrests may be made as the investigation continues.

Canton Academy celebrated a 41-8 win against West Memphis Christian, and Hartfield Academy dominated Cathedral 49-0. The show’s standout player was Madison St. Joe’s Drew Wamble.

Wreckage cleared from Vicksburg train derailment site

SUMMARY: Vicksburg fire officials report that all rail cars from the Thursday derailment at Malberry and Oak streets have been cleared, and rail traffic has resumed. A 50-year-old man sustained serious injuries during the incident and was transported to University Medical Center in Jackson. Investigators are currently looking into the cause of the derailment and are also trying to understand the circumstances surrounding the victim’s presence near the tracks at the time.
