SUMMARY: A third suspect, John Barnes, has been charged with aggravated burglary in connection with a McMinn County home invasion. Barnes surrendered to authorities late last night, following the incident that occurred Thursday evening. The homeowner reported that several men broke in, brandishing rifles and demanding her jewelry before fleeing. Two suspects were arrested immediately after the crime, but police are still searching for 28-year-old Benjamin Croft. Anyone with information on Croft’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the McMinn County Sheriff’s Office.

The McMinn County Sheriff’s Office initially reported four people were involved in the invasion. Deputies are now looking for Benjamin Croft.

SUMMARY: Ryan Wesley Ralph has been formally charged in federal court for the second attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. He faces charges for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and possessing a firearm with an obliterated serial number. Authorities reported that Ralph was near the Mar-a-Lago golf course for 12 hours, where a Secret Service agent observed him pointing an AR-15 at them before firing. Ralph was equipped with a scope, backpack, and camera during the incident, while Trump was playing golf and was unharmed and swiftly evacuated from the location.

The suspect Ryan Routh was charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
