Mega Millions ticket sold in Florida wins $1.58B jackpot, third-largest in US history
SUMMARY: A single ticket sold in Florida has won the $1.58 billion Mega Millions jackpot. The winning ticket was sold at a Publix grocery store in Neptune Beach. The winning numbers drawn were 13, 19, 20, 32, 33, and the yellow ball 14. This comes after 31 straight drawings without a jackpot winner. The prize can be taken as a lump sum option of $783.3 million or as an annuity paid out over 30 years. Mega Millions is played in 45 states, Washington D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

SUMMARY: Von’s Soul Food Catering in Columbus, Mississippi, provides over 400 meals to those in need at Loaves and Fishes every third Tuesday. Since 2018, owner Lavonne Harris has prepared full-course meals for the homeless and hungry. On November 19, a Thanksgiving-themed meal was served, including dressing, vegetables, and dessert. The meals are a special way to support people before the holiday. Volunteers from the community and local businesses assist in serving the meals. Harris also encourages more volunteers and churches to help, as there are days when additional support is needed to serve meals.
