MDOT progresses with road projects in three different counties

One killed in officer-involved shooting in Olive Branch
SUMMARY: In Olive Branch, Mississippi, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is looking into a fatal officer-involved shooting that occurred on September 16. Officers from the Olive Branch SWAT Team were serving an arrest warrant when a suspect pointed a weapon at them, prompting the officers to return fire, resulting in the suspect’s death.
