MDA, AccelerateMS help Aurora Flight Sciences with expansion
SUMMARY: Aurora Flight Sciences is expanding its operations in Lowndes County, Mississippi, creating 63 new jobs by the end of 2025. The county supervisors approved a tax incentive for this $43.8 million investment, which will fund the construction of a 50,000-square-foot manufacturing facility and refurbish an existing building. This marks the third expansion for the Columbus facility, which has been operational since 2005. The Mississippi Development Authority and AccelerateMS are also providing assistance through the Mississippi Flexible Tax Incentive program.
