McDonald's employee with disability thrives, overcomes challenges | FOX 5 News

Promoted to manager, Kirsten communicates with her coworkers via her phone, fostering teamwork and inclusivity. She expresses her love for working at McDonald’s and hopes to continue in her role for years to come.

Friday is National Disability Independence Day focused on awareness and acceptance. Lilburn’s Kirsten Reyes and her coworkers may just embody that very ideal. She works at the McDonald’s on Lawrenceville Highway and has found a way to make it on her own, even now becoming a manager.
