SUMMARY: No. 23 Ole Miss put up a strong fight but fell short in a 92-82 loss to top-ranked Auburn. Despite a solid effort, including a standout performance from Sean Pedulla with 29 points, Ole Miss struggled with poor free-throw shooting and rebounding. Auburn’s big men, Johni Broome and Dylan Cardwell, dominated with 20 points and 13 rebounds each. Auburn’s 50% three-point shooting and ability to answer Ole Miss’ rallies proved decisive. Coach Chris Beard was optimistic about his team’s growth, while Auburn’s Bruce Pearl praised Beard’s progress in Oxford. Ole Miss will next face No. 12 Kentucky.

Supporters argue legalizing mobile betting could curb illegal gambling and generate tax revenue, while Senate committee chair David Blount fears it could harm brick-and-mortar establishments and lead to expanded online gaming.
