Matt plays catch with Brewers prospect Mike Boeve
SUMMARY: Mike has quickly transitioned from college baseball to AA, a notable jump in competition, thanks to support from both college and AA staff. Growing up in Nebraska, he was a top-rated third baseman and chose Nebraska Omaha for its proximity and strong program. Fun in his hometown was limited but tight-knit. Moving to Mississippi, he was struck by the humidity and water, unfamiliar as he never learned to swim. Despite various teammate offers to teach him, he remains a non-swimmer. His family, with coaching roots, has been instrumental in his journey. If not playing baseball, he might pursue professional frisbee golf.
