MVSU basketball’s social media takes playful jab at ESPN after daunting loss
SUMMARY: After a severe 111-39 loss to Missouri, Mississippi Valley State’s men’s basketball team used humor on social media to cope with the situation. Responding to ESPN’s stats highlighting how Missouri outscored them in key areas, the Delta Devils’ account quipped, “Uncalled for.” Additionally, they expressed frustration over a controversial blocking foul during the game, arguing it should have been a charge. Their playful remarks provided a lighthearted take on an otherwise disheartening evening. The team is set to face Texas next in their ongoing road game stretch against SEC opponents.
