Married military officers among 2024 graduates of WCU med school
SUMMARY: One hundred and fifty of the nation’s newest physicians are set to graduate from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine, with two of them, Daniel and Aaron Golden, meeting and marrying during their time at the school. Both are officers in the US military and plan to return to Mississippi to practice medicine once their military service is complete. The Goldens credit their time at William Carey as a life-changing experience, with Daniel describing meeting his wife as a miracle. They will be completing their residencies together at the Brook Army Medical Center in Texas as part of a larger graduating class due to the school’s increasing class sizes in the coming years.
