March 12 is Election Day in Mississippi. Here’s what to know before heading to the polls

SUMMARY: Mississippi’s primaries are on March 12, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters need photo ID but can’t photograph ballots. Any registered voter may vote in either primary, regardless of party registration. Voters must stay with the same party in runoffs.
