March 12 is Election Day in Mississippi. Here’s what to know before heading to the polls
SUMMARY: Mississippi’s primaries are on March 12, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters need photo ID but can’t photograph ballots. Any registered voter may vote in either primary, regardless of party registration. Voters must stay with the same party in runoffs. Presidential candidates include Trump, Haley, DeSantis, Ramaswamy for Republicans, and Biden for Democrats. Congressional seats are also contested.
