New CDC data revealed that 13 states and New York City had “very high” levels of respiratory illness, and 18 other states and Washington, D.C were rated as “high.” Seven states reported the highest level 13 category for flu activity, compared to no states only three weeks ago. The illness data is based on the number of people seeking medical care for flu symptoms, and the symptoms of COVID-19, RSV, and influenza are very similar and can be hard to distinguish without a test.

All aboard Delta flight survive after plane flips while landing in Toronto
