Man wanted for kidnapping 7-month-old in Jackson
SUMMARY: Jackson Police released surveillance photos of a suspect involved in kidnapping a seven-month-old girl, later found safe. Chief Joseph Wade described the suspect as an older white male or older light-skinned black male. The incident occurred when a mother left her child in a running car at a Shell gas station, and the car was stolen. It was later abandoned at Brent’s drugstore with the baby inside. Chief Wade warned parents against leaving cars running and said police and Capitol Police are investigating. CPS and the District Attorney’s office may consider neglect charges. William Carey enrollment rises
