Man sentenced to 25 years for Madison standoff
SUMMARY: Brandon Bly was sentenced to 25 years in prison by the Mississippi Department of Corrections after a standoff in Madison in July 2023. Bly had barricaded himself inside a home with his four-year-old nephew after beating a woman who suffered serious injuries. The standoff lasted three hours before Bly was taken into custody.
