Man dead, 2 arrested in botched Cleveland County robbery

SUMMARY: A Marine veteran, who was wounded in Vietnam and missed receiving a Purple Heart for decades, was finally honored with the award recently. During combat in September 1968, he was shot in the head at just 19 years old, sustaining serious injuries that led to over a year in the hospital. SUMMARY: Tonight will be cold with temperatures dropping to the upper 30s to around 40 degrees. Tomorrow, highs are expected near 70, accompanied by some wind.
