Man charged after stabbing at Nashville intersection
SUMMARY: A stabbing in Nashville on UN Drive involved 61-year-old Charles Reed, who was found by police at the intersection of Dickerson Pike and Ying Drive with a knife. According to an arrest warrant, Reed admitted multiple times to trying to kill the victim, whom he was asked to keep off the property. Man's identity uncovered years after remains initially found
SUMMARY: Genetic research has enabled police to identify human remains found in January 2018 in a makeshift shelter along I-24. The skeletal remains, along with a sleeping bag and clothing, were linked to 65-year-old Steven Allen Yance, a Vermont man who had been living at the site and lost contact with his family years earlier. A bone sample led to his identification. Investigators state that no foul play is suspected in his death.

Harvest Moon in TN: What you need to know
SUMMARY: Tonight features an extra rare Harvest Moon, which is also a super moon, appearing about 14% larger than usual and 30% larger than the smallest moon. Adding to its uniqueness, the moon will undergo a partial lunar eclipse starting at 7:41 PM, peaking at 9:44 PM, where about 8% of the moon will appear red as it moves through Earth’s penumbra. Weather conditions may affect visibility, with clouds currently over eastern Tennessee and clearer skies expected in the west. As the eclipse continues, the cloud cover is predicted to decrease, providing a better view later in the night.
Tuesday night is when the Harvest Moon peaks in brightness. This year’s full moon in September is extra special because it will be a supermoon with a partial lunar eclipse.
