Making Spirits Bright: Kiwanis Club of Lucedale
SUMMARY: The Kiwanis Club of Lucedale, led by Stephanie Poole and co-presidents Kelly Dixon and Stephanie Chisholm, has a long-standing tradition of positively impacting the youth of Jackson County through various initiatives. Throughout the year, they bring joy to the community and brighten spirits. The club’s contributions, spanning over 15 years, include providing park equipment for schools, supporting teachers with grants, organizing holiday meals for students, and running the Terrific Kid program. They also launched a Prom Closet, allowing students to attend dances with donated dresses and suits. These efforts foster connections within the community, illustrating the Kiwanis Club’s dedication to service, one step at a time. In the coming year, they plan to continue their heartfelt work for Lucedale’s population of just over 3,000 residents.
This holiday season, we’re focusing on organizations giving back to the community throughout the year, that are Making Spirits Bright.
