SUMMARY: Dak Prescott, former Mississippi State quarterback, is now the highest-paid player in the NFL after signing a four-year, $240 million extension with the Dallas Cowboys, featuring a record $231 million guaranteed. Despite the lucrative contract, Prescott emphasizes that his main motivation is to lead the Cowboys to championship glory, a feat they haven’t achieved since the 1990s. Over his eight seasons in Dallas, he has recorded impressive stats, including 29,459 passing yards and 202 touchdowns, and he earned the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in 2022 for his philanthropic efforts.
