Madison man charged in health care fraud scheme

SUMMARY: U.S. Attorney Todd Gee announced that Reginald Fullwood, Jr., a man, is facing criminal charges for allegedly participating in a conspiracy to defraud the United States. Fullwood is accused of paying kickbacks for ' orders, leading his company, Medical Supply, to bill Medicare and Medicare Advantage for medically unnecessary orthotic braces. The charges are part of the Department of Justice's 2024 National Care Fraud Enforcement Action. Fullwood allegedly continued the scheme through a new entity when Medicare investigated, causing a total billing of $12,441,625.30 and reimbursements of $6,448,092.61 for ineligible claims.
