Lowndes County CTE opens cosmetology program
SUMMARY: The Lowndes County School District in Mississippi is providing students with exposure to various professions through its Career and Technology Center. SUMMARY: Jackson police are investigating the discovery of 76-year-old Arthur Ray Mikell’s body, found in a wooded area east of South Gallatin Street. Mikell had been reported missing on September 17, 2024. His vehicle, a white 2012 Dodge Ram 1500, was also recovered. Detective Tommie Brown noted that the cause of death remains under investigation.
