Louisville family loses everything in fire right before holidays
SUMMARY: Teresa Deweese and her two children narrowly escaped a fire that destroyed their mobile home in the Twin Oaks community. Awakening to urgent knocks, they fled with only the clothes on their backs. Deweese suspects the fire started near where she was charging her daughter’s Power Wheel. While arson investigators work to confirm the cause, Deweese’s stepmother, Danny Roche, has mobilized community support, organizing donations to aid the family’s recovery. Roche reassures Deweese, emphasizing their collective strength and commitment to ensuring her family has more than they lost, highlighting the importance of community during their crisis.
