SUMMARY: St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Foley has opened its doors to families fleeing Hurricane Francine, offering a safe refuge. Denita Briy, a Katrina survivor from Louisiana, expressed her gratitude for the church, which provides a much-needed respite from the chaos of storms. Having experienced the long-term devastation of Katrina, she understands the importance of finding a secure place during emergencies. Although the church is not a full shelter, it is the only officially recognized safe haven in Baldwin County.
