Long Beach man sentenced to life for murder of wife

SUMMARY: Robert John Oshinski, a 39-year-old man from Long Beach, Mississippi, pled guilty to murdering his wife, Ashley Barbara, on January 9, 2022. Oshinski beat Barbara to death in front of their three children in a camper where they resided. He was sentenced to Life in prison by Circuit Court Judge Randi P. Mueller after pleading guilty to First-Degree Murder. The investigation revealed signs of multiple beatings over time, with Barbara sustaining fractures and lacerations.
