The tax-free holiday is running until tomorrow and includes items under $100. You can find all the rules on the Department of Revenue’s website. It’s a great opportunity to save some cash on things you need for the school year. This morning, Bill Snyder joined the discussion and mentioned that it is National Highlighter Day Eve, so he decided to wear a lime green highlighter shirt. Many kids will need highlighters for their school supplies.

A dense fog advisory is in effect, affecting travel in multiple directions. Overnight temperatures will be mild, starting in the 60s, with highs in the 70s tomorrow. The warm trend continues into the weekend. A pattern change may occur next week as a ridge of high pressure moves southeast, allowing cold air from Canada to potentially influence the area, possibly increasing rain chances depending on the location of a stalled cold front.
