Hurricane Oscar path | Latest 6p update
SUMMARY: Tropical weather is active with two systems of concern: Tropical Storm Naen and Hurricane Oscar. Naen, which has weakened, is impacting Guatemala and Mexico with heavy rain. Oscar, a Category 1 hurricane with 85 mph winds, is moving west towards the Turks and Caicos and is expected to make landfall in Cuba. Both systems will not affect the U.S. mainland. For the upcoming week, temperatures will remain slightly above average with plenty of sunshine and only a minimal chance of rain expected on Saturday. Overall, pleasant weather is anticipated for the near future.
Maximum sustained winds are 85 mph with stronger gusts. Oscar is moving west and is expected to continue westward toward Cuba.

More than 1 million people have already voted in Georgia for the November election so far

Suspect burglar caught in the act | FOX 5 News
SUMMARY: A man named Anthony Scott McDill, 51, was arrested for repeatedly burglarizing a vacant house in Kawia County, belonging to an elderly relative of the caretakers. Sheriff’s deputies responding to a routine check heard glass breaking and witnessed McDill attempting to escape through a rear window. Upon confronting him, he broke multiple windows in a desperate attempt to evade capture. The deputies eventually apprehended him after surrounding the home. McDill faces charges of burglary and criminal damage as the inside showed signs of him trying to barricade himself. The Sheriff’s Office commended the deputies for their vigilance.
