Limited tickets available Friday for pair of sold-out Dixie National Rodeo concerts
SUMMARY: A new round of concert-only tickets for two sold-out shows at the Dixie National Rodeo in Jackson will go on sale Friday, January 17, at 9 a.m. Fans can purchase tickets in person at the Mississippi Coliseum Box Office, limited to eight per person. Headlining acts include Zach Top on February 13 and Ella Langley on February 14. Top gained popularity with his debut album “Cold Beer & Country Music,” while Langley’s debut EP “Excuse The Mess” received over 120 million streams. The rodeo runs February 7-15, featuring top contestants and various entertainment events.

SUMMARY: Terrence Metcalf, a standout offensive tackle for Ole Miss from 1997 to 2001, has been named to the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame class, joining 18 players and four coaches. A consensus First Team All-American in 2001, he distinguished himself as a dominant lineman, helping lead the Rebels to three bowl games and significant national rankings. The Clarksdale native later became a third-round NFL draft pick, playing seven seasons with the Chicago Bears. After his playing career, Metcalf returned to complete his degree and transitioned into coaching. He is also the father of current NFL star DK Metcalf.
