Deportation proceedings threaten STL County case
SUMMARY: Endrina Bracho, accused of involuntary manslaughter for a crash that killed 12-year-old Travis Wolfe, remains in ICE custody in Kentucky and will not be returned to St. Louis County for trial without ICE’s approval. Bracho, who was driving illegally and speeding, is at risk of deportation. Prosecutors express concerns about achieving justice for Wolfe’s family. A judge issued a new arrest warrant to bring Bracho back, but the Kentucky jail stated it cannot comply without ICE’s consent.
