State Board of Education votes to raise literacy exam requirements

Areas of frost are possible in Alabama the next couple of mornings

Fireworks Damage New Pickleball & Tennis Courts | October 14, 2024 | News 19 at 6 p.m.
SUMMARY: Officials from Guntersville and Fort Payne Fire and Rescue are investigating damage to pickleball and tennis courts at Point Mallard Park in Decatur. Reports indicate that fireworks were shot at the new facilities on October 4th, between 9:30 and 10:30 PM. The park has filed damage reports with the Decatur police, highlighting that the floors in both the pickleball and tennis courts had recently been painted. Authorities are working to determine the responsible party for the vandalism.
Officials in Decatur are working to figure out who damaged the new pickleball and tennis courts earlier this month.
