Law Enforcement contract between DeKalb and Kemper County could be suspended

The Keer County Board of Supervisors and Sheriff Moore discussed this issue, noting that the town hasn't contributed to the Keer Sheriff's Department budget recently. If 911 is called and the town's police cannot respond, the Sheriff's Department will handle it. The board of aldermen in DeKalb is expected to vote on this matter at its meeting on Tuesday at 5:30.
