Law enforcement collaboration leads to major drug bust in Lee County
SUMMARY: Law enforcement agencies collaborated to arrest Johnny Arnez Dillard, 38, in northeast Mississippi on multiple charges, including drug trafficking and illegal firearm possession. A search warrant was executed in Verona, leading to the confiscation of various illegal substances, two firearms, and cash. Dillard faced multiple trafficking charges involving methamphetamine, fentanyl, hydrocodone, MDMA, and oxycodone, alongside two counts of felony firearm possession and possession of a stolen firearm. At the time of his arrest, Dillard was already on house arrest for previous felonies. His bond is set at $750,000 as authorities continue to evaluate the case.
