Federal agencies inviting public to weigh in on future of Jackson water system

The EPA and Department of Justice will hold two meetings on October 10 and 11 at Jackson . The water system is currently managed by interim Ted Henifin, who plans to stay until 2027. State leaders have attempted to create a water authority but opposition. Jackson Chokwe Antar Lumumba proposes creating two boards for management.
