SUMMARY: Texas DPS issued a Blue Alert early this morning for 33-year-old Seth Ultman, who is wanted for allegedly shooting and seriously injuring a police officer in Memphis, Texas, a small town in the Panhandle. The officer, who was attempting to serve a warrant, is currently in stable condition at a hospital. Concerns arose over the issuance of the alert at 5 AM for an incident 500 miles away. Blue Alerts are activated when authorities are searching for a suspect involved in the serious injury or death of a law enforcement officer.
