Former Dallas Uber driver arrested for punching elderly passenger on video

SUMMARY: Dallas 41-year-old Willie Williams, a former Uber driver, for assaulting 68-year-old passenger Solomon Gaba after a dispute over legroom. The incident occurred on October 2, 2023, when Gaba complained, leading to an argument before Williams allegedly punched him from behind, knocking him to the ground. Surveillance footage captured the attack. Williams, who has a prior assault conviction, was arrested at a hookah lounge eight days later. DA Kim Ogg vows to go after more of Houston's 'dirty cops'
