Kosciusko man accused of stealing hearse, arrested after chase

Law enforcement pursued the hearse on Highway 12 until spike strips were deployed near the intersection of Highway 12 and Highway 413, causing the vehicle to crash. The driver, Matthew Thomas, aged 58, was arrested and now faces charges of felony theft of a motor vehicle, felony fleeing, and driving without a license. A Pearl River man pleaded guilty to these charges.
