SUMMARY: The 28th annual Double Decker Arts Festival in Oxford will be held on April 25-26, featuring Mississippi cuisine, live music, and art. A red double-decker bus will be the centerpiece, and Tupelo artist Sarah Buzzell’s work will be featured as the official artwork. SUMMARY: Terrell Buckley, a Pascagoula native and College Football Hall of Famer, has been hired as the new head coach at Mississippi Valley State University (MVSU). A former Super Bowl-winning defensive back, Buckley brings 18 years of coaching experience, including stints at Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and with the XFL’s Orlando Guardians. He replaces Kendrick Wade, who was let go after a 1-11 season. Buckley, known for his ball-hawking skills as a player, is committed to building a culture of hard work and accountability at MVSU, with the goal of turning around the Delta Devils’ football program.
