Kentucky woman arrested after dismembered body parts found 'cooked' inside oven
SUMMARY: Last night, Fox 56 was the only Lexington station reporting on a disturbing incident in Robertson County, where police discovered a dismembered body at a home. Around 12:30 PM, Kentucky State Police received a call about the gruesome find on Briarly Ridge Road. Officers found severed arms, legs, and a head in the backyard alongside a blood-soaked mattress with more body parts. The suspect, Torina Mayfield Fields, was found in the house covered in blood and resisted arrest until police used tear gas. Fields, now held at Bourbon County Detention Center, faces multiple charges, including abuse of a corpse.
Court documents have revealed grisly information regarding troopers’ discovery in a Robertson County home.

SUMMARY: Winter weather is approaching Kentucky, with temperatures dropping to the low 40s and feeling like the upper 30s. A winter weather advisory is set for Southeastern Kentucky tomorrow night through early Friday, highlighting the potential for accumulating snowfall, especially in higher elevations. While most areas may see only light accumulations, Southeastern Kentucky could receive up to four inches of snow. Temperature highs will remain in the 30s, but a warm-up is expected by the weekend, potentially reaching 60 by Monday.

Attorney General holds post-election inquiry drawing
SUMMARY: The Kentucky Attorney General’s office conducted a drawing to select 12 counties for a postelection inquiry aimed at protecting ballot integrity. The selected counties include Callaway, Davis, Jefferson, Jesson, Bole, Baron, Warren, Campbell, Metcalfe, Edmonson, Lincoln, and Trigg. Throughout the year, the office monitors potential election law violations via a hotline, which received over 700 messages, including nearly 350 on Election Day. Each inquiry is investigated seriously, emphasizing the stewardship of elected officials to ensure fair and secure elections. Findings from the investigations will be presented to a grand jury in the audited counties.
The Kentucky Attorney General’s office held a drawing on Wednesday randomly selecting 12 counties to go through a post-election day inquiry.
