Keesler Federal Credit Union expected to get naming rights to Shuckers stadium

SUMMARY: Keesler Federal Credit Union is set to acquire the naming rights to the stadium previously known as MGM Park, home to the Biloxi Shuckers. The city of Biloxi intends to finalize a contract with Keesler Federal Credit Union next week. Outbidding Shuckers Baseball, LLC, Keesler has offered $150,000 annually for five years, surpassing the city’s initial hopes by $25,000. In return, Keesler will get signage rights at the stadium’s entrances and atop the scoreboard. The deal arrives in time for the 2024 Minor League Baseball season, starting April 5. Shuckers Baseball, LLC had proposed $90,000 per year for a decade.

Bricen Rivers pleads not guilty to murder of ex-girlfriend Lauren Johansen
