SUMMARY: Temperatures today are significantly colder compared to yesterday, dropping by 10 to 20 degrees across various locations, with readings in the 30s. Calm winds prevent wind chill, but dry air remains. A cold front is approaching, bringing reinforcing colder air just in time for the weekend, with expected lows in the upper 20s, causing significant freezes. Saturday’s highs may only reach around 50 degrees. Wind gusts over 20 mph may make it feel even colder. As the week progresses, temperatures will rise, potentially reaching the 60s by Christmas Day, although some rain is anticipated later on that day.
