K9 helps captures rape suspect in Calhoun County
SUMMARY: In Calhoun County, a 27-year-old man named Dakota Humphrey is accused of raping an elderly woman. Following the attack, Humphrey fled in his car but crashed along County Road 314 and attempted to hide in the woods. However, he was apprehended by a police K9 named Rooster and his handler. Humphrey is now in custody and charged with rape, with a bail set at half a million dollars. The arrest involved deputies and K9 Rooster successfully tracking and capturing the suspect.

Kenneth Gainwell hosts 3rd annual camp

Pontotoc County 4-H holds beef show
SUMMARY: Despite the heat, local buckaroos are competing in the Pon Talk County 4-H Livestock Show. To keep everyone cool, extra fans, water faucets, and ice have been added. The event also features a Dominoes tournament, a cornhole tournament, and an 8 PM rodeo.

Baldwyn's Bike Day held to support the town
