JXN Water encourages customers to return to normal water use

SUMMARY: JXN Water officials in Jackson are asking customers to return to normal water use after a deep freeze. They are monitoring leaks but have not experienced major service disruptions. More challenges are expected as the ground thaws, so customers are asked to turn off dripping faucets now that temperatures have risen. Leaks inside homes can quickly increase water bills, so customers are encouraged to check their water use and address leaks from toilets, shower hoses, and faucets. JXN Water is responsible for leaks from the street to the meter, and repairs may be delayed up to 48 hours. Customers can call 601-500-5200 for assistance or to report leaks.
