JPD Chief: Man confesses to 73-year-old’s murder, shooting ATM serviceman
SUMMARY: Yesterday, there were two shootings on Medgar Evers Boulevard in Jackson. A 73-year-old man named Charles Suddeth was found dead at one of his homes. The suspect, Robert Jackson, reportedly shot someone at an ATM at a minimart on Medgar Evers. Jackson confessed to both shootings and is now in custody. Christopher Mayes, who was previously a person of interest, is now missing. The Jackson Police Department is asking for any information on Mayes’ whereabouts. If you have information, call JPD.
