Joe's Blog: Ice for some…rain for others (FRI-12/13)
SUMMARY: This morning in Kansas City starts with a mix of clouds and sunshine, as temperatures drop into the teens. However, milder air is expected to arrive this afternoon, raising temperatures into the 40s. While initially dry, moisture will increase leading to light precipitation, mostly drizzle or mist, which may freeze in northern areas, prompting a winter weather advisory up to St. Joe and into Iowa. Tonight, rain is anticipated, continuing into Saturday, with temperatures steadily rising. Sunday promises milder weather, reaching the mid-50s. The long-term forecast shows no significant snow expected through Christmas.
