Jett Johnson Nominated for Allstate’s AFCA Good Works Team
SUMMARY: Mississippi State graduate linebacker Jett Johnson has been nominated for the 2023 Allstate American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Good Works Team. He is among 136 student-athletes nominated for their community service efforts, academic dedication, and impact on and off the football field. Johnson has been actively involved with a charitable organization in his community of Tupelo, Mississippi. He also participates in MSU Student-Athlete Development community service events. On the football field, he led the SEC in tackles during the 2022 season and has accumulated a total of 206 tackles throughout his career. The final team and honorary coach will be selected by a voting panel in September.
