Jasper leaders remember Mayor David O'Mary

Toulmin Avenue house fire 3rd since homeowner moved in
SUMMARY: A family of six in Tolman Ville is safe after a house fire broke out on Tolman Avenue around 9:30 AM. This incident marks the third fire at the home, with previous fires attributed to electrical issues. The family’s four children were playing outside while their parents were at work when they received news of the blaze. Mobile Fire Rescue responded quickly, extinguishing the flames, which melted siding on a neighboring house. Fortunately, the family escaped unharmed, though they are left shaken. Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing, and Alabama Power disabled a burnt power line.
The homeowner said a Wednesday morning house fire is the third fire she’s been through at that house.

Sixth Avenue Streetscape Project Approved | October 23, 2024 | News 19 at 5:00
