SUMMARY: As Texas approaches the election in 30 days, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett emphasizes the need to engage voters, highlighting concerns like inflation and housing. She notes the lack of awareness among citizens about local and national issues. Meanwhile, Congressman Dan Crenshaw argues the election should focus on policy rather than personality, criticizing Democrats for their stance on fossil fuels and social issues. Both political leaders suggest the upcoming elections will hinge on swing states and voter turnout, particularly among demographics like young women, who may be motivated by recent political changes. The Texas political landscape remains fiercely competitive.

FOX 4’s Steven Dial spoke to Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-Dallas) and FOX 26’s Greg Groogan sits down with Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-The Woodlands) to discuss what is on the line in the presidential election between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.

Police say Ahmad Alkhalaf, a 66-year-old husband and father from Sasche, was murdered in the middle of the afternoon at an Oak Cliff gas station just off I-35 and South Marsalis Avenue. A 19-year-old woman is charged with his murder.
