Jackson teen accused of shooting elderly woman during attempted carjacking

SUMMARY: A 13-year-old boy named Nicholas Crumbley has been charged in connection to an attempted carjacking in Jackson, Mississippi. The incident resulted in an elderly woman being shot in the leg. Crumbley has been charged with armed robbery and individual aggravated assault. The carjacking occurred at Windsor Park Apartments on June 17. During the incident, Crumbley demanded the victim’s car keys and shot her in the leg. Other residents of the apartment complex heard the commotion and were able to chase off the suspect. Crumbley fled the scene, and the victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

All aboard Delta flight survive after plane flips while landing in Toronto
