SUMMARY: Leilani Armenta, a member of the women’s soccer team brought in to play as a kicker due to injuries, became the first female kicker for an HBCU school to score in an FCS-level . She knocked in three extra points during Jackson State’s 40-14 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Armenta’s three PATs came in the second and fourth quarters, and she went perfect on the day while the team’s starting kicker, Dylan Wasson, went one for two on extra-point attempts. Jackson State’s quarterback, Jacobian Morgan, threw for five touchdowns and 373 yards in the game.
