SUMMARY: Entergy Mississippi CEO has announced that power should be restored to all customers in Jackson, Mississippi by Wednesday night. Approximately 450 restoration workers are working 16-hour days to accomplish this. Thousands of residents have been without power for almost a week, causing discomfort and spoiled food. Some have questioned the preparedness of Entergy to respond to the storm, but the company claims they were fully engaged when the storm hit and have been dispatching crews since then. Downed power lines and trees need to be removed before repairs can be made. The target time for power restoration is Wednesday night.
