A cold front will bring cooler weather by Thursday, with highs around 60 and potential freezing temperatures by Friday. Christmas is expected to be mild with no snow, but forecasts will be refined closer to the date.

Governor visits Stark Aerospace in Columbus to celebrate company's contract with Navy

Work underway on projects at the Rez
SUMMARY: Crews are preparing to build a new office complex for the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District at Bobby Cleveland Park. The $5.5 million project, funded in part by a $2 million state grant, will replace the old office. The park is also undergoing other improvements, including new boat ramps near Shaggy’s Reservoir, funded by a $1.2 million grant. Over 1,400 trees damaged by drought and the Southern Pine Beetle were cut down, and crews will hire contractors to grind stumps and mulch the remains. Plans for a new disc golf course and tree planting will begin in February 2025.
