Jackson police arrest man who was “terrorizing community'
SUMMARY: JPD arrested 29-year-old Atreyell Manuel on multiple charges including sexual battery, armed carjacking, robbery, kidnapping, and rape. The police credit citizen information for leading to Manuel’s arrest, preventing further terrorizing of the community. JPD acknowledged the Major Investigations Unit’s efforts and thanked the citizens of Jackson for their ongoing communication that helped in apprehending the suspect. Without this information, Manuel would still be a threat to the community.
